Life with Lila

Blogging with a baby is not the easiest, that's for sure!  There really is no way to describe how drastically your life changes when you have a newborn - of course, for the better, but until you experience it, you just have no idea.  Especially when you are breastfeeding - you are the only food source!  It's overwhelming and awesome at the same time.

Lila has been quite the busy girl since I last blogged.  We try to get out of the house and in the car at least every other day, and we've been taking daily walks around the neighborhood in the stroller.

This past Wednesday, I took her to visit Justin at work and to meet his co-workers:

And today was probably the most exciting outing so far - we took her to lunch at Meg O'Malley's, an Irish pub in downtown Melbourne!  She did wonderfully by the way - slept the whole time!

Chicken pot pie - was DELICIOUS!  All of their food was awesome!

June and Ralph (Justin's parents) head back to Virginia on Monday and we will officially be on our own for a week! (Great-Grandma is coming for the week of Halloween) Wish us luck!

p.s. A very important milestone in my life (besides becoming a mom) is coming up on Wednesday . . . yes, the big 3-0 is happening.  Although I could follow the example from my own Mom and keep telling people, including my children, that I'm turning 29 every year!
