Starting with, drum roll please . . . a hood fan for our glass cooktop! We were violating major fire codes by not having one . . .

The next new arrival is not so much new . . . just moved into its proper position. I'm talking about the chandelier that used to hang in our sitting area by the fireplace. It was stupid there. See below:

So where did it really belong? Over the dining room table, of course. It completely makes the space now.

Again, thanks to Dad! And that cute Moses basket on the table is holding Miss Lila:
We also finally got the bi-fold door hung up. Although, it still needs to be painted, but at least I don't have to look at the crap in our closet anymore:

Lastly, we have a guest bathroom door! Now, we weren't sweating it too much because we have a pocket door that closes off the shower and toilet area, but it's even nicer now that we have an actual door in the hallway:
Also still needs to be painted, and we need to install the hardware. I would say the house is now 99.5 percent complete.
The other .5%? That dang threshold in the kitchen! The good news is the floor guy finally showed up last night with the wood he'll be using, and claims he will install it next week. Woohoo!
