"She was an American Girl . . ."

Doll, that is!  At the American Girl store and restaurant in Tysons, to be exact.  Mom and I took my cousin Sascha to lunch at the American Girl restaurant and it was awesome.  If you have a young daughter in the DC area, you need to take her there, like now.  If you don't have a young daughter, you need to borrow your niece, cousin, god-daughter, cute girl off the street, and take her there.  It was seriously the cutest place.

Sascha didn't have an American girl doll, and the restaurant has dolls for you to borrow to eat lunch with.  They sit the dolls in a special chair at the table and bring them a little tea cup and saucer.  The food was pretty good considering it's more about the experience than anything else.  There were a ton of birthday parties there that day and the cakes they brought out were adorable.  It was also hilarious to see all of these little girls walking up to the restaurant with their dolls in tow.

Love all of the PINK!  Pink everywhere.  As it should be.

They also take a photo when you arrive, then print it out and put it in a frame while you are eating.

After lunch, we cruised the store and looked at all of the dolls and their accessories.
 Molly and her friend Emily

 Kit and her dog, Grace

One of the newer girls, Julie.  Love her table and chairs!

Sascha went home with her own bitty-baby that looked like her (dark hair, blue eyes).  Congrats to the new mommy!

As for this mommy-to-be, you know that IF there is a baby girl growing inside of me right now, I will be taking her here as soon as she's old enough!
