One of the highlights of the Christmas season down here in Florida was going to "Christmas at Tara" with Grandad and Pauline in Vero Beach. A prominent lawyer in Vero Beach, Bernie Grall, transforms his law office and grounds at Christmas time. Why is it called Christmas at Tara? Because he also built his law office to look like the famous plantation from "Gone with the Wind." It's really too much! He decorates 20 of the rooms in the office with trees and Christmas collectibles, and each room has a theme. The library was the amazing part though - the entire room was a Christmas village! I looked for Beetlejuice but couldn't find him ;) What was really great was that you couldn't see what was in the library because there was line to get in, and then you came around the corner and saw this!
They also had giant reindeer in another room (almost as tall as us!)
And a tree dressed like Santa!
It was the last year that the law office was going to do the indoor decorations, so I'm glad Justin and I made the trip. It really put us in the holiday spirit!
