I couldn't resist the Third Eye Blind reference, since I am posting about "blinds" once again . . .
Justin and I re-hung the blinds in the nursery last night. We did not buy new ones and went ahead and used the two inch wood blinds that came with the house, even though they are a dark hawaiian looking wood color.
"I wonder how it's gonna be, when we hang the blinds,
I wonder how it's gonna be; if we'll change our minds,
how's it gonna be . . ."
Well to answer that little ditty, here is the before before shot of the nursery (as in, when we bought the house. Unfortunately, the blinds in question are pulled up! But it's still fun to see the progression).
Not going to lie, I was pretty happy when Justin accidentally broke that fan. You know I love me some bling, but I prefer it around my neck and wrists and not hanging from the ceiling of baby's nursery.
And now for the regular "before" shot with no blinds - baby Watts says "Get me some privacy, stat!"
Hard to believe it's the same room.
And now for the "AFTER" shot:
"Well everyone I know has got a reason,
to say,"
those blinds look awesome!
I really do apologize for all of the Third Eye Blind references. Some of you might think I actually like them or something . . . but in reality, I know the lyrics to pretty much every song I've ever heard, even songs from 15 years ago. It's a weird talent. Really though, who are we kidding? I like Third Eye Blind. I think I will go listen to them on iTunes now.
Yes, they are just as good as I remembered.
Love your posts, your lyrical talent, and the great lead on where I can start the blind process. I fall into the overwhelmed/ don't know where to start category. Baby Watts will love it in there!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Maureen! Just let me know if you need help with the blinds. I feel like an old pro now :)
