Your Love Keeps Liftin' Me Higher

A Valentine's Day ode from Lila to her high chair:
(to the tune of Jackie's Wilson's "Higher and Higher," immortalized by Ghostbusters 2, when the Statue of Liberty herself walks through Manhattan!)

Lila in her high chair at home, watching me make dinner
Your love, lifting me higher
Than I've ever been lifted before
So keep it it up
Quench my desire
And I'll be in your seat, forever more

Sitting at the dining table while we eat dinner!
You know your love (your love keeps lifting me)
Keep on lifting (love keeps lifting me)
Higher (lifting me)
Higher and higher (higher)

Now once I was down hearted (and down on the floor)
The bouncy chair was my closest friend
But then you came and it soon departed
And you know he never
Showed his face again

Lunches out are so much better!

That's why
You know your love (your love keeps lifting me)
Keep on lifting (love keeps lifting me)
Higher (lifting me)
Higher and higher (higher)

I'm so glad, I've finally found you
Yes, that one, in a million chair
And now with your loving arms around me
Honey, I can sit up and join the fuuuuuuun
Lila and Daddy at Long Point Cafe
You know your love (your love keeps lifting me)
Keep on lifting (love keeps lifting me)
Higher (lifting me)
Higher and higher (higher)

Or lower and lower . . .
Yes, babies can fall asleep pretty much anywhere.
