Lila's first OBX trip!

Yes, we've been home from our trip to OBX for a week now . . . and I wish I could say we've been relaxing and settling back in!  No, we've been getting the house ready for some hosting duties this weekend - the bridal shower for my beautiful friend Lauren Walsh!  And then next Friday we leave again for VA for DeeDee's wedding! (and a couple more side trips to Ocean City, MD, Chincoteague and OBX again - yay!)

Anyway . . . here are some pictures from our trip!

The whole reason we planned our trip was to attend the gorgeous wedding of Nathan and Ashley Walker in Frisco.  Lila was supposed to be my date because Justin had to work, but she was working on one of her top teeth and didn't take her afternoon nap, so the drive down there just wasn't going to happen. We did get a picture together though!

Lila did not want to cooperate on getting her picture taken in her 4th of July outfit either!  Here's the best I could come up with:

She's on the move these days!  It's getting harder and harder to get a good picture!

We also got to celebrate Great-Grandma's birthday with her while we were there:

Can't wait to go again in 12 days with Daddy this time around!  We are having a whirlwind of a summer, that's for sure!
