Frugal Friday comes early!

Frugal Friday is on Wednesday today . . . BECAUSE this friday is BLACK FRIDAY!

It's the most fruuuugal day of the year!

Woo hoo!

But it's only the most frugal if you follow these rules:
1. Check out the ads early.
2. Decide if there is something you really need and whether the price is truly unbeatable.
3. Only buy those items you decided about in #2.  Seriously, you will be tempted.  If you find yourself saying "But it's such a good deal!" then you need to put the cupcake machine down and walk away.  You can make cupcakes in the oven.

Justin is super excited because we are after a new . . . TV!  We are still sporting that 32" flat screen I bought back in 2005 in our living room.  We call it our postage stamp.  If all goes well, we'll be upgrading to a 60" come tomorrow night.

Which brings me to another point.  If they are going to start "Black Friday" sales on Thanksgiving night, they need to come up with another name, like they have for Cyber Monday.  Red Thursday, perhaps?

Either way, wish him luck!  (That's right, I'm staying home with Lila for this one.  She's too young to be exposed to the end of humanity as we know it).
