How to describe Lila? She is smart . . . too smart. We've somehow trained her to stay in her big girl bed until we come get her, which means every morning she yells quite loudly "I'M AWAKE!" She takes forever to eat meals because she wants to talk the entire time. She says "Hey what?" instead of "Guess what?" She remembers everything - even stuff like when we went to the Verizon store six months ago and I had to change her diaper and we walked over to Panera to throw the diaper away. She also notices if we go to Target in Viera that we are at a "different Target," same with a "different Publix." She's finally potty trained - and it was relatively easy because she finally decided she wanted to do it. She loves to read books and we had to switch out her Berenstain Bears only because Mommy and Daddy were tired of reading the same ones over and over (and those books are not short!) She loves taking care of Bitty Baby, but even more so, her baby brother James, who she calls Little Lumpkin. She wants to hold him and he's so big that it's hilarious. She sings a song she made up and the lyrics are "Be yourself because that's who you are." When she says her prayers, she thanks God for our family (individually) and then pretty much everything in her bedroom before saying Amen. She says when she is grown up she is going to live in a pink house with a pink car and James is going to live with me and we are going to see the school bus drive up and we are going to run outside and jump on the bus and go to school. She kept saying she wanted a light up watch like Daddy, Mommy, Grampa and Grandad, but she wanted hers to light up pink, and Pauline found one (and it's Disney Princess! We don't call her the Fairy Godmother for nothing) She has three pairs of princess "high heels" and likes to "lose" one of them and then call to Justin, "Hey Prince! I lost my shoe!" and Justin retrieves it for her. In short, she is constantly making us laugh and we love her little face!
She loves Disney Princesses right now so she asked for a Princess Party for her birthday - here she is ready to celebrate this past weekend!
