Happy 2nd Birthday, Lila bean!

Happy Birthday to the sweetest, funniest, smartest, most gorgeous girl in the world!  Talk about the best two years of our lives.  Our Mary Poppins-loving girl had a practically perfect birthday party this past Saturday, full of Supercalifragilisticexpialadocious details!  And we had wonderful weather considering how rainy it has been the past two weeks.  After last year's 1st birthday extravaganza, I really scaled back this year (seriously!) We rented a riverfront park pavilion and everything was very low key.  Lila had an absolute blast with all of her family and friends!

At the last minute, I ordered some paper fans 2 day shipping from Amazon and put together these paper fans . . . even though it's the end of September the high temperature for Lila's party day was 95 degrees!  And all the kiddos took home sidewalk chalk in honor of Bert being a "screever, an artist of highest degree."

Really excited that we went to Erika Iurcovich's to get Lila's 2 year photos taken today - she captured some of our absolute favorite pictures of Lila last year on her first birthday - we have seen the unedited proofs and are so excited about her 2nd birthday photos!
