A few days late, but here are Lila's 23 month pictures! In case anyone was wondering (because I know these thoughts just swirl in your heads), Lila is wearing one of my dresses from when I was little. I wore the dress in the four generation photos we had taken with my mom, Grandma and Grannie. I put a picture of me in the dress at the very end of the post! It's hard to see past my dark hair but I think some of you might see a resemblance?
Our happy little girl is talking, talking, talking. And singing! She still loves Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and sings the songs from those the most. But we watched The Sound of Music a few times and she will sing "Ray . . . drop of golden sun . . . Me!"
She was looking at a silhouette of Mary Poppins flying and she said to Justin and me, while pointing at Mary, "Hat on. Shoes on. Bag on. Dress on. Flying in the air!" That was a new record for words in a row for sure!
We just finished up a visit with Granny and Grampa (and some early birthday celebrations that included a Doctor set that she is quite obsessed with - we are all very "healthy" around here). We are just going to take it easy for the month of September until her birthday rolls around - and then it seems like fall will just take off with all the plans we have! Can't wait to share her 2nd birthday photos with everyone! It will be here in a blink.
