Junior League's Re-Run 5k!

Here are some very belated pictures from the Junior League of South Brevard's Re-Run 5K (80s and 90s theme!)  We were raising money for The Children's Hunger Project and our own community project, Fueling Kids.  You can learn more about The Children's Hunger Project here.  In the United States, 17% of children are at-risk for hunger . . . but in our county, Brevard, the number is 45%.  The Children's Hunger Project sends packages of food home on the weekends for these children.  Junior League's community project, Fueling Kids, visits two of our elementary schools once a month and provides a super healthy snack and a physical activity for the children in the after-school program.  Both are such awesome causes that I am proud to be a part of!
Maureen, Lauren, Amanda and myself all decked out for the race
I didn't get a good picture of Lila's outfit, but she was wearing an oversize sweater (a la Flashdance) with cassette tapes on it and neon green leggings!

Tim and Justin
Lila and Amanda (I provided Amanda with those sweet sweet earrings and Swatch!)
Lauren's sister Maureen got 2nd place for her age group!
Interested in donating to the cause?  Let me know!
